My name is Cathy (Steinkuehler) Alsbaugh. I was born in Augsburg, Germany in 1958. I became deaf when my mother had rubella. I attended Colorado School for the Deaf and the Blind (CSDB) from Kansas City, Mo in 1968. When I was 10 years old I learned how to do sign language. I was involved in sports, Volleyball, Track, and on the Cheer leading team. I went to the College Community of Denver after graduating from CSDB in 1977.
I worked at Colorado National of Denver Bank from 1980 - 1988. Second Job at Checks Unlimited in 1988 - 2008. I retired. Married to Donald Alsbaugh. We have 2 daughters and a son.
I am a membership Coordinator since 2009. I encourage people or Former Students who graduated from CSDB to join to become CSDBAA Members or Non-Members. We care for our alumni members or non-members. Come on and Support CSDB Alumni Association.
